Yamaha Scooters and history

The Yamaha Motor Company began production of scooters Yamaha in 1955 and started exporting the first scooter models Yamaha USA in 1960. Early Yamaha was a little scooter style that was familiar in the films of the era. The company has produced increasing numbers of examples of excellence in engineering since then.

Over the years Yamaha has worked to improve their scooters to meet end-users. For the most part have been very successful. The production of models that are lightweight and can brave the elements. The Yamaha 125cc and 250cc models were fitted to one million people in the 1970s. However, even in 1970 was a Yamaha 650cc four-stroke, the XS-1, which was a beauty to behold.

Today, Yamaha makes a wide range of motorcycles and scooters covering all types and sizes. Models range from 50cc to 249cc Virago all the way up 113CI (1854cc) and Venture Stratoliner S V-4 Royal Star. This is "only" 70ci (1147cc) but its liquid cooled engine emits a hoarse roar, and the journey is smooth as a Jaguar.

Be prepared to stop for more serious cash main models of Yamaha motorcycles. These cruises and bike tourism at $ 15,000 with accessories and customization can easily cost $ 20,000 or more. Fortunately as Harley-Davidson, Yamaha may well maintained maintain its value year after year. Many older models are sold only on new bikes.

But on the other hand, Yamaha scooters are very cheap. At the lower end could spend as little as $ 2,000 for a scooter Yamaha. But the upper end could spend up to $ 8000 $ 9000. The high-end systems have more bells and whistles. They also have large engines that allow them to be very good resources in urban centers.

It was introduced in 1999 and was manufactured, largely unchanged, through the 2010 model year.
