This trike uses an innovative system called weight shifting in order to take to the air. The wing is made so that it can pivot and turn, according to the wind.

Despite this rather odd configuration, a Microlight is perfectly safe to fly in! In fact, you will find that this light aircraft is one of the safest one made in this form. Only an accredited school such as Midcoast can legally offer the public a chance to experience one of these aircrafts.

You can take a TIF flight at Midcoast year round. What makes them really fun is that each trike has dual controls, as these aircraft are used to train pilots. Once in the air, you are allowed to fly the Microlight yourself. You’ll be accompanied by a Chief pilot, who is an expert at both flying these trikes, and teaching others how to do so. You’ll feel like an old pro in no time at all!
