Three myths that contribute to a Fear of Flying

Fear of flying is one of the most common phobias, and can be very difficult to overcome because of the many factors that may cause fear come into play simultaneously. You feel claustrophobic in May during the flight, you may fear being "trapped" the plane, it is possible that anxiety about the possibility of having a panic attack on board, crashed or perhaps fear. Some of their fears have no basis in reality whatsoever, and are simply the result of the myths that have come to believe mistakenly as fact.

Very often, people with fear of flying it is "airbags." I have news for you, the cushions Airbags are as real as the Tooth Fairy! The myth is that if a plane has the misfortune to fly through one of these mythical air bags, may suddenly hundreds of feet. This is simply not possible. No place in heaven is a "pocket" of air. Never walk down the street and suddenly I could not breathe because you've gone through an air pocket? Of course not, because the idea is absurd. Airbags do not exist.

Another concern common is that planes are actually very fragile and that turbulence can cause significant damage, is a threat to the safety of passengers and crew or even break the wings in May. In fact, commercial aircraft are designed to withstand the turbulence much more than they experience in normal flight, and no amount of turbulence that would normally encounter can damage the aircraft at all, let alone break the wings. Turbulence is much more disadvantages as a danger, and strength aircraft is in its flexibility. The wings of an airplane is actually very flexible and can bend in the wind, as a blade of grass gently slopes, while oak and hard to break down in May. Turbulence is one of convenience, not a safety issue.

Another widespread myth, which is a source of misunderstanding is that an aircraft crash in the sky if the engine stopped working. Even without engine, a plane can glide for a very long time, up to 100 miles at cruising altitude, like a giant paper airplane! Aircraft just do not like "fall" in fact, rolling landing without engine power is very common to save fuel. If you're afraid of a plane fell from the sky, you can put this worry behind you simply not possible.

There are many, many myths about the flight, which may cause fear and unnecessary anxiety to fly, we have only scratched the surface here. The more you know about theft and work plans, the less you fear.
