BMW to get to the F3

After almost three years of internal discussions and a change of presidency, finally the much anticipated BMW 3-Series based crossover / utility vehicle led to the approval of production.

The versatile new BMW CUV, which will soon have features of F3, once reached showrooms, is under study since 2004 and is based on internal documentation recently shared with AutoWeek.

Development the BMW 3 Series has been delayed for the following reasons:

* The engineering resources of German carmaker stretched limit
* There are already new models lined up to produce

Fortunately, BMW, Norbert Reithofer new president arrived on the scene in late 2006 and was also the time when the F3 was reviewed and after discussion, the President Reithofer gave the signal output of F3.

The decision to increase production of the F3 is also caused by rising sales in Europe and across the United States in recent years.

However, do not hold your breath yet from the new CUV may probably come from North America in 2010 and has a starting price which may be included in a segment full of direct competition with people Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.
