Enduro O Frame MX Goggles $50 Oakley Enduro O Frame MX Goggles With over 30 years of experience in motocross and our unyielding passion for innovation, it’s no surprise pros like Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Davi Millsaps and Ryan Dungey take performance to the medal stand in Oakley MX Goggles. A face-hugging shield, rapid-fire tearoff system and scratch-resistant Lexan® lens maximize downward visibility for a clear view from the front of the pack. With Oakley MX Goggles, you’ll savor every mud bath on the dirt track. Oakley’s MX ENDURO is a face-hugging shield with enough downward visibility to let you choose the best line on track or terrain. The vented dual lens design is enhanced with F-2 Series anti-fog treatment and the clarity of optically pure LEXAN®. Triple-layer face foam wicks away sweat while the silicone treated strap refuses to slip off your helmet. Compatible with ATFM half masks, this goggle integrates perfectly with the Oakley laminated tearoff system (sold separately), so coming through the pack won’t leave you dirt blind. When Oakley designs goggles, protection is at the forefront. The most stringent impact testing is called ANSI Z87.1. The High Velocity test uses a stainless steel ball traveling at 172 mph. The High Mass test uses a 500-gram conical tipped missile dropped from a height of 50 inches. Drop Ball is a test that targets the lens with a 1-inch steel ball from a height of 50 inches, and the Penetration test uses a 44-gram #25 needle dropped from 50 inches. Developed with 3-D CAD/CAM engineering for a true anatomical fit, Oakley MX goggles are designed to offer the highest level of comfort and performance. Contoured frame architecture provides a continuous seal against dust and debris while allowing moisture to wick away from the skin. All Oakley MX goggles take advantage of triple-density fleece foam for optimized comfort and maximum sweat absorption. Currently Oakley products can only be shipped to U.S. customers |

Title IX (Paperback) $13.51 Title IX represents a watershed in the history of girls` and women`s education. In 1971, the year before Title IX was passed, fewer than 295,000 high school girls and 30,000 college women participated in their schools` athletic programs. By 2001, those numbers had increased to 2.8 million and 150,000, respectively. Through this rich collection of documents, Susan Ware shows how athletics, once viewed as a privilege, came to be seen as a right. In her introduction, she examines Title IX within the broader social and legislative history of the late twentieth century, providing her readers with a clear account of the changes taking place in educational institutions and in athletics more specifically. Her selections, each accompanied by a headnote providing context, offer a wide variety of perspectives, highlighting controversies surrounding the legislation that continue to the present. Document headnotes, a chronology, questions for consideration, and a selected bibliography offer additional pedagogical support. |
