A quick glance at the history of Harley Davidson

The Beginning

Harley Davidson is one of the manufacturers of the most famous motorcycles the world. Were born in America, resulting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the first motorcycle that was in 1905. Believe it or not, Harley Davidson has been one of two major manufacturers that have managed to survive the Great Depression, which really destroyed most of the companies in that period.

Of course, survive the Great Depression was an achievement in itself, and that owners of HD did not know that had just been through revision of the toughest jobs ever experience. It is probably possible to be ready for any contingency the future and also to keep competitors who thought they could invade your space on the market.

The company has been developed by the young entrepreneur William S. Harley. At age 21, decided he had the knowledge and ability to build a real machine premium. He began to develop plans for achievement of a prototype, starting with the engine, and then, Harley Davidson, was finally born!

The Turning Point

The 50th was an important turning point for the company. The problem is that in 1952, the U.S. Tariff Commission decided they were not enough sales of imported motorcycles. They put a tax of 40% in the prospective machines, which means that its image is finally reduced to what was nearly a decade ago. Of course, it was not long before the company was back on track and in some years, the brand is produced by Harley used in a series of gangster films finally restored to its original image.

The company has always boasted of producing machines fabulous, so much so that there are hundreds of groups and clubs devoted to horse ownership and the end of the cruise. This is mainly due to the fact that clients have provided a point of single sales, with all the weight machines that cruise 750cc.

Of course, things have not always been so cut and dry for the giant motorcycle industry. At one point, it was as if an invasion of the motorcycle market in Japan. Japanese companies have been offering a wide range of machines in a fraction of the price. Fortunately for Harley Davidson quality imported machinery which was well below what is falling on their production lines.

As mentioned above, people who ride these bikes are not people who enjoy the freedom to use a motorcycle. In fact, more important, people who are loyal to the brand Harley Davidson and enjoy the fact that they have a high end machine. Its brand is so great that the license of your logo in about 5% of annual business income, which is very impressive!

So what bikes do they occur?

Over time, Harley Davidson has been cut and changed their distribution to ensure that only the best bikes available in dealers around the world. Some of the most popular models include the Street Glide, Electra Glide Classic Electra Glide Standard, Ultra Classic Electra Glide, Electra Glide Ultra Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra Classic. Of course, it depends on what the rider is then as different machines are designed for different purposes.

The brand fans all know that HD is certainly not a brand to be confused with the speed and adrenaline. However, this framework focuses on the production of client machines to your exact specifications, allowing them to enjoy the freedom of a motorcycle, but at the same time be incredibly proud of the system on your property.
