Having trouble naming your dog?

History has shown that people have been naming their dogs while they maintained. The oldest dog breed Saluki was known, the name of the city of Saluki Yemen. Rock carvings dating from 7000 BC show a strong resemblance to the Saluki. DOMESTIC DOGS appear first as the Egyptian Pharaoh Hounds back at least to 4000 BC and which played a signifigant role in the Egyptian royal family. Archaeological excavations around the world have proved that mans best friend was given a name. We know the names of many dogs of ancient Egypt collars of leather and reliefs, stelae and sculptures. Among these names as Brave One, Reliable, Good Shepherd, North Wind, antelopes and even "useless". Other names that come from the dog looks like blue or snow, while other dogs have been given for names like "Seven". Many names seem to represent love, while others simply pass dog skills or abilities.

Naming a dog today became a challenge that more and more for dogs. We all want our pets that unique name that nobody else has. However sense guidelines, there are some municipalities to follow when appointing your puppy love.

1. Remember, you will use and shouting the name of a hundred times day and thousands of times in the life of your dog. Choose a name that comes from the language fluently. Most trainers and breeders suggest a name in two syllables. Your puppy will be easier to learn and have an easier to say.

2. Choose a name that remains clear of command words Commons (sit, down, looking, not, etc..) Name and Brown Sitah, Bogo, Peter and Beau can confuse a puppy being trained to operate and older dogs whose health and hearing are endangered.

3. Remember, your dog will be with you for a long period, which resembled a cute name and cute when he was a puppy can not be a big name in his later years. POOPSY Stinky or may not be appropriate names for use in public when your dog ages. You must guide the younger children should be allowed in the process because he is always adorable and embarrassing.

4. Using a unique look to your dog, its personality and ability are excellent ways to arrive at a name. Your Beagle could be patches, the Rhodesian Ridgeback could be Big Red, Ridge or Leon and his new Shar Pei wrinkles could be appointed. A pet can be named or stubborn Rebel Renegade. A dog can be quick or Swifty Bullet and a beautiful dog and proud to be called Princess or Queen.

5. Leave your dog decide on their own behalf, limiting the options few, then call the names for your dog. All that may be one. Instead, you may write the names chosen separately and let your dog decide to self in the name you want.

6. Remember not to scream your name when you are angry or discipline your dog like him, his dog began to associate the name with unpleasant events and ignore the name when is called. Name of training should be done in a positive way when you play with him, praise and reward. Use their name often to learn to associate its name with pleasant events.

However you decide to choose the name of the dog that fits your new pet to comfortable in the fact that they are not alone in the difficult task of choosing a name. Just remember to choose the name of your dog and you feel more comfortable and will not be a problem.
