The history of the helicopter

Nobody knows exactly who built the first helicopter, but it is generally admitted that were built for soldiers returning from WWII. Soldiers who had traveled bicycles in Europe found the Harleys that are produced the United States was slow and heavy, something that remains true today. In an effort to mitigate these motorcycles to the pilots began to remove parts unnecessary and "Bob" wing. If Europeans bikes available in the United States believes that these drivers could have left right then Harley and the cyclist would have a scene completely different from what we have today.

These bikes were once called the principles Bobbers and helicopters term did not really popular until the sixties and seventies. Most reference sources of the movie Easy Rider as the beginning of cultural phenomena, but the national news on the antics of the Hells Angels were certainly the image of the rider off the law, set in the public eye, a much worse than we saw in the movie The Wild One, 1953.

The new generation who cut their own bikes means, not only by the oscillation cycle, but adding additional rake and ends later and, of course, the obligatory Sissy bar. Bicycles, we know that the helicopters were born. I think it is interesting to note that although the two terms "float" and "Chopper" became 40 years ago than now used interchangeably, most people do not really understand all the conditions.

Helicopters the afternoon sixties went from Harleys just swinging without lights and mirrors for bicycles is also modified with a handlebar suspension mono Sonny Barger as I used back in the late 50s, the skinny front tires and the sissy bar above. Motorcycles and bicycles have become familiar in a form acceptable entertainment for everyone and image of bikers who became the lawyer or bicycle repairman.

Although we still have helicopters actual construction, the true meaning of the word has probably been lost forever, but not the spirit of those who built them. As bikes custom switch mode we find ourselves with a great group of new drivers who travel today in the rest of their lives, and many of them will also be built helicopters.
